I actually have the attention spam of a five year old, so when I say books I mean audio books – Audible is only £7 a month and you can get a free ‘book’ with that each month, even if it would normally cost like £50!

Here are some books I would recommend if you want to become healthier and more satisfied in life. If you can solve some of the problems you are expected to each day in the NHS, you can certainly create a happier and healthier life for yourself.

The Power of Habit
Charles Duhigg

This book is great for helping you understand why you act the way you act every day when it comes to your habitual behaviour. It offers great advice on how to implement new habits in place of old bad habits in a very simplistic way. This is not the first book on habits I have read (listened to!), but it is the first book that has helped me understand why I have failed in the past. This in turn has helped me put strategies in place to build new habits.
